3 Ways to Style Satin Genie Joggers

I have been eyeing these pants for a very long time.

Everything about them = perfect: the stunning colour (it’s a deeper red in person), the silky material, the gold details. I don’t wear much red (though it’s one of my favourite colours), so I was a bit hesitant on them…

A few weeks ago, I pulled the trigger and I am so glad I did! They are even more gorgeous in person and the possibilities to wear them truly are endless. You can go dressy or casual, you can mix textures or keep it all silky, you can wear heels or flats… you name it.

Check out all the possibilities with one pair of pants! Do you have any ideas on how to wear them? LMK in the comments!

Be sure to keep this in your shopping bag for Friday! 😉

Look 1: Lace, velvet & satin… oh my!

1. } Mid Rise Tie Front Jogger Pant via Express

As mentioned above, I LOVE these pants. They are extremely comfortable, loose ( a must for that thanksgiving eating ), and can be adjusted with a drawstring! Those gold cuff details tho… *insert heart eyed emoji*

2. } Velvet Military Jacket via Zara

I’ve been obsessed with this jacket ever since I first saw it. I love the military style & the gorgeous embroidery. This is a must for the holidays! This jacket will sex up seriously any outfit. I absolutely love the long sleeves with it, but it can go over something a bit slinkier… which leads me too…

3 }: Lace Trim Bar Strap Cami via Express

The contrasting black lace with the white makes this a show-stopper. The bar straps add an extra edge. You can never go wrong with black and white… not to mention I have a major thing with lace, velvet, and satin… even better if it’s all together.

4. } Razzi Velvet Loafer-Mule Hybrids via Steve Madden

So I preordered these because they are too damn good. I bought these with these exact pants in mind. I love that the bit is gold so it matches the little details. These also tie in the velvet jacket perfectly (buttons & all). I seriously cannot wait for these to get in. The burgundy colour is stunning, as well.

Look 2: all satin everything

1. } Mid Rise Tie Front Jogger Pant via Express

The above look was all about contrasting textures, this is all about complementing. I’m talking slinky fabrics like satin or silk to match the pants. The end look will be completely seamless and extra luxe!

2. } Contrast Satin Blouse via Forever 21

All satin everything is one of my favourite trends of the season, remember? I love the boudoir vibes of this top & the pajama inspired contrast piping.

3. } Here Kitty Choker via Nasty Gal

I love this satin choker! The bow detail is feminine, super flirty flirty & the pearl is a nice touch and would complement the above. PS – it’s 30% off rn!

4. } Cora Faux Fur Perspex Heels via Public Desire

How fun are these shoes? I love them with this outfit, because it’s absolutely inspired by the boudoir and totally makes the outfit. Plus, there is something sexy about PVC. If the heels aren’t your jam, then go with some fuzzy slides like these!

Look 3: casual cool

1. } Mid Rise Tie Front Jogger Pant via Express

Yup, these again! This time we are dressing them down and taking a more casual route here.

2. } Camden Top via Brandy Melville

I seriously love Brandy Melville (remember). I love their “no sizing” system, because I find it adds to the laid-back vibes… Not to mention their material is soft as butter. Sizing more your thing? Check out Express’s OneEleven line, it’s very similar but on a XS-L scale vs no scale.. I buy my basics from them often and the material is incredible. Other than their bodycon items, they tend to fit as flowy as the Brandy tops!

3. } Express Vevet Boyfriend Blazer via Express

I love the unstructured, boyfriend fit of this. Easy to throw over a simple tee to dress it up a bit, or to dress down a cocktail dress aka extremely versatile! The slouchy fit makes it even cozier. Love this piece (& picking it up now with the 50% off sale).

4. } One Eleven Two Tone Lace Bralette via Express

I actually own this and it is my absolute favourite to pair with a good deep v. I love the black and red lace, it adds a nice flirty touch & this bralette gives a surprisingly decent amount of support + it’s on clearance.

5. } Superstar via Adidas

Can’t go wrong with the classic everyone knows and loves! The black and white stripes tie together the outfit perfectly & I love the contrast of the boyish sneakers with the sexy lacy bralette!
