My favourite sale of the year is going full force: THE REFORMATION SALE!

Reformation is one of my OG favourite brands here at essellesse since 2014. Every August & December, they have their big sale. Right now, styles are up until 50% of but I have a sneaking feeling come this week {or maybe even tomm!}, prices will be slashed up to 70% so I figured I’d share my finds!

Erik & I have been completely decluttering and redoing our apartment. As I streamlined my closet {which is the best feeling ever btw}, I realized I have very few dresses. I’m basically starting from scratch dress-wise so I figured I’d share all the dresses I’m eyeing, as well as jumpsuits / sets, & skirts!

dresses I want from the reformation sale

casual vibes

one thing I REALLY love about Reformation is their ribbed fabric – and almost all of these choices have it! Think chic but casual dresses to throw on and still look put together while still being comfy cozy!

Colorado Dress: a casual, chic style – I love the mock neck & oversized fit. This would be super cute with flat, thigh-high boots or dressed up with gold jewelry – love a gold chain over a black mockneck!

Jeanne Dress: this dress has been on my ref wishlist for some time so I was stoked to see it on sale! A casual minidress that would look darling with laceup sandals or black ballet flats. I’m digging the cherry red but the striped dress is tres chic too!

Mod Dress: another ribbed, mockneck dress. Can you tell I’m obsessed? This reminds me a lot of Margot Robbie in “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”. I’d stick to the mod theme and pair with some stovepipe white boots.

Shandy Dress: I really love this neckline & how adjustable the straps are. Erik loves this style on me and I can’t get enough of the ribbing! I love it for lazy Sundays – we’ve been spending them walking around San Francisco & this is perfect for that!

Shell Dress: another casual, ribbed dress! I love the colour to it & this is one of those pieces that can go with everything. This would also be a great dress to wear on planes under a cozy cardigan.

Camile Jumpsuit: obbbbsesssssed with this jumpsuit! I really love how chic this looks when you KNOW this is as comfortable as PJ’s! Pretty versatile, as well, and you can swap the belt for something thicker, a glitzy rhinestone one, or a scarf. I’d also style it with a mockneck underneath!

the higher the slit, the better

I am a sucker for a high slit on dresses! These picks are striking & reformation ALWAYS gets their slits perfectly designed.

Albee Dress: this just might be the most perfect dress right. mockneck, ribbed fabric, maxi length, & a high slit! I’d seriously LIVE in this dress for the next 6 months.

Piazza Dress: such a sassy dress & colour!! The way this slit designed has me obsessed. I would style this with a black ribbon in my hair & black kitten heels. I love that it has a casual vibe with a little edge

Ruby Dress: suuuuch a stunning dress. This colour is beyond dreamy & the slit on this is just striking. Perfect for a sexy date night, especially at home – this dress is begging for some champagne & candlelight.

Runyon Skirt: I love a long skirt with a high slit! These look great with silky camis but I really love it with an oversized, boxy turltleneck!

glitz & glam

These pieces are ones I’m eyeing for special events & even looking ahead for the holidays! To end this decade, I have a very glamorous winter holiday glam aesthetic – I’ll do a post as we get closer since it’s not even fall yet! but these pieces are a good peek on what I’m thinking. Think lots of metallic, lurex, faux fur / maribou, silver & pink, silks, velvet, & satin for a very essellesse holiday.

Carlyle Dress: this dress is pure 80s and I love it. From the twisted, low neckline to the shimmery fabric – this is a retro glam must.

Minka Dress: I!!! LOVE!!! MARIBOU!!!! & not to talk about winter but I am LOVING it for winter. This is so beyond glam and I’d wear it to a party with some long gloves!

Robertson Dress: the silver satin just kills me in all the best way. This with a white faux fur shawl is a must. I personally love silver with pink & would pair this with some hot or pastel pink details.

Koda Jumpsuit: This jumpsuit continues on with the retro glam! I LOVE the lurex and the silhouette gives me 70s/80s vibe.

essellesse top 5 lazy luxury picks

these are the ones I’m personally eyeing! All have that lazy luxury vibe and include some of my favourite things from silky slips, to rich velvets, to breezy pastels, to a good co-ord set. Can’t go wrong!

Elsa Dress: this is my personal fave from the entire sale! I am a sucker for anything silk, anything that looks like pjs, & anything with “boudoir” vibes {throwback to this post}!! The details on this is absolutely perfect & would look so chic with a long silk duster, faux fur & suuuper spicy with fishnets!

Melany Dress: I love this neckline & that the sleeves are adjustable! The velvet is super luxurious & I find I’m really turning to browns lately. This dress would be perfect for visiting wine country during harvest!

Jules Jumpsuit: my obsession with co-ordinated sets is going strong and I’ve been literally waiting for the sale to purchase. I love the emerald green & slinky ties on the straps. I’d pair this with black kitten heels {specifically these vintage prada beauties pictured here}.

Speck Jumpsuit: I don’t think I’ve adequately shared my love for smoking jackets here on essellesse yet but I AM OBSESSED. I love they are basically “luxury pajamas”. This is basically a “smoking jumpsuit” & I’m obsessed. I’d also style this with a crisp collared button down {with big cuffs!!} – both cuffs & collar exposed. I feel like it’s very Kathryn Meurteuil of Cruel Intentions.

Delphi Skirt: of course I love the breezy pastels & light fabric but that slit detail is one of the most gorgeous & unique I’ve seen! For end of summer, this would be cute with a white tee & these espadrille sneakers I have my eye on. To transition for cooler temps, pair it with an oversized, chunky mockneck sweater!

lazy luxury

Let me know what you’re digging or any pieces from the ref sale that you picked up.

I’ll post my denim picks tomorrow! I already picked up a few pairs: the Julie Cigarette Slit; High & Skinny in dark Havana {these are supposed to feel like leggings!}; & Serena High Skinny Crop in Destroyed Black. I’ll review them all here as soon as they come in. Erik gave me shopping ban permission for this sale 😉

Any other sustainable fashion brands you love? I’m looking for a new boutique for “elevated basics”. Think Brandy Melville tees with better fabrics. I especially want a thick, ribbed white tank top if you know of any
